Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Are there any additional costs or unexpected fees that may come up prior to close?

A

Upon completion of plan finalization and bidding, you will receive the final pricing for your home and lot package. It is our goal to collect each and every detail of your home to provide a total package cost that offers peace of mind that you will stick within your budget throughout the completion of your home. Our sales team will put together a purchase agreement which will include all of the terms, pricing, and detailed features for your new home. Price changes can occur if you choose to change something with your home. If this happens, we will provide the cost to make any changes upfront. If you decide to move forward with the change, we will execute a change order.

    Q

How do I know if I qualify for a home loan?

    A

The first step to seeing if you qualify for a home loan is to reach out to a trusted loan officer. Your loan officer will have you submit your financial information and run your credit score to see if you qualify for a mortgage, and at what price. Graphic Homes has a preferred lender who specializes in new construction and existing homes. For more information please refer to the financing info section of the website to learn more.

    Q

How long does the construction process take?

    A

The construction of your home is typically completed within 90 to 120 days, though this timeline may vary based on several factors, including our current workload, the time it takes to receive government approvals/permits, and unforeseen weather conditions.

      Q

Does Graphic Homes have lots and developments we can pick from?

      A

Yes, we offer a wide selection of lots within our developments. You can explore all available options on our website or feel free to reach out to us directly to inquire about the most current lot availability.

      Q

Will Graphic Homes build on our own lot?

      A

Our ability to take on new construction on your personal lot largely depends on our existing workload. Please provide us with information about your lot, and we can explore whether this option is feasible.

        Q

Can I customize an existing floor plan?

        A

Absolutely! We're committed to ensuring your home reflects your unique style and needs. You're more than welcome to customize any of our offered plans, provided the changes are within your budget and feasible according to the plan's specifics.

          Q

Can I or someone I know carry out work on the home during construction?

          A

Due to liability and potential schedule disruptions, we don't allow this. Our policy ensures your home's safety, quality, and on-time completion.

            Q

What if I have a home to sell?

            A

No problem! We have two licensed agents with RE/MAX Results carrying an abundance of experience with existing and new construction homes. Please refer to the realtor contact section of the website, and they will be happy to assist with listing your home.
